Xmas is over and we are back to business with full staff! Hope everyone had peaceful holidays :)

JP is now promoted to a co-manager, congrats! he earned his place as a manager by working hard and having Coach's best intrest in heart, by being a good human being and most of all, a good host. I'll be focusing more on the management, traffic and finance, and JP will be taking care of the runnin business as in shifts etc.

Today is the regular Neko/Furry night, so come along and join the hairy fun!

Memory Day

This year has been amazing for me. There is not a single moment I would give away or regret.
I've met some awesome ppl, kind of ppl that make u smile when you are down and laugh with you when you're happy. Kind of ppl that take you down to Earth when your head is in the clouds, and dig you up when you get stuck in the mud of desperation and self criticism. Thank you all, my sweet sweet friends, I hope next year is just the same.

Of course got to run the lil pub, Coach. Been enjoying that greatly, a lot of resposibility, tough times and good times. I'm happy that I got my work friends there, we are like a tight little family. 2 great hosts, best DJ in sl, and the former manager now a builder. JP, Trev, Keif, Dana; you just make it all worth it. Thank you for being there, doing what you do, loving our lil pub.

This year has also been a year of misunderstood feelings, words,.. Times and places havent always met the perfect timing. There are things, that I could've done otherwise, but if I had chosen those other paths, I really dont think I'd be here where I am now. In the beginning I said, that I dont regret anything, writing this it's not completely true. Keeping in touch seems so hard sometimes. Dont know why.. sometimes I open that IM window, and nothing comes in mind, what to say. Perhaps there is too much to say and too little courage to say it.
Through this blog, I appologize to all I have caused any harm or sad feelings, hoping to clear everything when the time goes by.

Most of all, this year has been about happiness. Met the most amazing person, cheeky fella, caring and generous. Absolutely fell in love, even tho I thought I'm allergic to relationships, haha, he said the same. Thank you JP, without you my Second Life wouldn't be the same. Merry Xmas Goofy..

I thank our guests for making this year in Coach worth it, thank you for sharing your time with us, thank you for sinking your sorrows to that pint of beer and dancing your happiness on our dancecarpet.

Ooo, it's coming, CHRISTMAS!

Today we are having an xmas party at Coach, come stricktly as a Santas House member! Reindeer, Santa, Mama Santa, elf, tree... w/e, 300L on the board for the best of you!

Tomorrow we are having a chill night, let's all bring our best memories from this year and have a cup of tea, relax by the fire.

Haha, today should be interesting; we have contest. It's always the best, the prettiest so we are making the opposite - worst dressed avi. I'm gonna wear hobo clothing donated by my sweet brother Bonks. Photos are promised, stay tuned :P

First Wednesday official work

As our regulars know, we had the Wednesday as our Day Off for a long time. As it was becoming a popular night, we decided to change the day off to Tuesday (news flash).
Keif was playing tunes, good amount of ppl came in, I was pleased. Couldn't really enjoy it 100% though, had to think about tomorrows massive party and get my head straight to make it perfect. Of course I have my staff there to support me, and of course Mayhem's OFFICIAL manager Fury who I work with on this project. Big thanks to all of you, and our guests, this would not happen without you!
Today was about Cops and Robbers, had a cage and all. Great laugh, great party - again.
Now, let's keep our fingers crossed no wires get mixed up in Linden Lab and we get to keep the sim running tomorrow. Geez, i'm so excited cant keep in my pants! (JP loved this part btw)

Yay, I has blog! The purpose for this blog is to tell ppl about everyday life at Coach and Horses, the little local pub in Second Life, from it's manager's point of view.

So, a little bit about me. I'm Lumia VanDouser, or as ppl call me Lumi or Lumy. I live in a world called Second Life, age of over 1year. I started with shiny newbie shape, outfit and hair that made me look like a gone bad punk MAN, but as the Avatar Island ppl were very kind, i made new friends and got to shape pretty quickly.
I became friendly with the avatar island ppl, mostly with Canine, Sleeper, Renee and Shayne, and moved on with them to this other infohub called Solace, after Avi Island's management closed all the goodies such as voice and rezzing making it very difficult to help new ppl. Then we moved to Hyannisport, and the whole group jut went in their own ways causing biggering and drama.. Jalil was a new friend that we got close with and now i do call him my best friend. Or.. my best non-gay gay friend as he is overstraight. as a non drama lover I started to search for a new hang out, I came to London Sims. Fell in love with the ppl and the spirit in that area. Everybody was just .. easy to come along with.
There was few ppl who I do need to point out as taking me in, Daytona the London Fox, Hyde Spaz Jase and my titler teacher Wills. Later on I met Dana, the Green Alien, who became one of my best friends. Btw, Dana has London's best ass. That's proven with a contest. Yes, I lost.

Dana mentioned that Mayhem Club (awesome club btw) needs a host for one night. Before I knew it, I was planning shifts and making great events. but missing my local Coach and Horses, I applied for a transfer to work with Dana at that pub. I must say, we did a hell of a job. Place is now popular, ppl love it. As dana had to leave her job as a manager, I took over and have now traffic aboutish 3000 (that's good for a little little pub), best DJ in SL (Keif) and two great hosts, JP aka Aaron and Trev.

I got close with JP, as we spent our days together working with the pub. Now we are partnered, and got our own house :) he's the most gentle, passionate, humoristic, sweetest guy I know. Have no idea what I did so right, that I deserved to have him, to call him my man.

First when I started SL, I thought it would be a fun game to play. Turns out, it's not a game. Tried to keep my RL feelings away, but now, if someone comes saying that to me, I'll laugh and send him/her to a doctor to get a check for scitsofrenia. Idk if I spelled that right.. anyway. It's not possible to keep your RL head away. You are gonna feel for the friends you have, you are gonna feel for the man or a woman you get together with.

I do have a brother, evil twin, Bunky. He is a great artist, pain in the ass, awesome friend and with my sense of humour. I do often tease him by telling I'll tell mum what he's up to (like the time he shat on the sandbox and sat on his .. product and couldnt get up) but that's only cuz I'm worried. He calls me his Asspimple (AP), but I bet he likes the feeling of it.
Bonks left to travel across the SL grid, I'll be there for him as a company and sister when ever I can. If you find his other shoe, please Im him.

Now let's move on to Marty. I was scared of him at first, as he changed my title Marty's Ho, EVERY TIME. He popped at Coach, riding his mini horse or cow, can't remember what it was. Looking like a cowboy, made me laugh. Anyway, started chatting him and atm, he's a great lad to have around. i appreciate his way of being, that english humor and a relaxed way of living. He is a tease and a bit of a flirt, ok, let's not include that word "little", and I love him to bits and pieces. He's a big fan of rollin pins (dont ask), tails and ears. I find him often sneaking behind me and pulling my tail.

THen there's ofcourse my parkfriends; carole, rubs, jase, day, moo, wills, well.. everybody. They keep me just aboutish sane lol, yeah, i know, lost case.
